How to Get Involved
Volunteer
If you have even just an hour or two you can spend with us, it will make a BIG difference to the children we serve. We are looking for individuals and groups to help in a variety of ways:
Camp Fire After School Programs – times and locations vary. Volunteer opportunities can be arranged to fit your schedule.
-
Help the children with special activities. Art, cooking, gardening, science projects, photography – these are just a few of the many hands-on experiences we’ll be offering and we’re always looking for more. We’d love to have you share your talents with us!
-
Serve as a positive role model and mentor. Help us build caring, confident youth and future leaders by working with our staff to carry out our curriculum-based program that focuses on academic and leadership development and healthy lifestyles.
Miscellaneous – If you would rather work behind the scenes, we need help with office tasks, gardening, cleaning and a variety of other odd jobs around our building.
Weekend Food Program – Thursdays from Noon to 1:00pm at the Camp Fire Building. Ensure that children won’t go hungry by helping us fill backpacks with a supply of food for the weekend. This is a perfect service project for groups and families!
