With the arrival of the new CineDine in our neighborhood, Camp Fire is excited for the opportunity to be a part of the Marcus Theatres Fundraising Project.  This partnership allows you to purchase discounted movie tickets from Camp Fire to benefit the kids served in our programs.  With different packages to choose from (including gift certificates), you can purchase movie tickets from Camp Fire for just $8 or $6 each with no expiration and a free popcorn and 15% of your purchase will come back to Camp Fire!

Many thanks to Jody Carstens and her Camp Fire Guild Board and Event Committees for presenting Camp Fire with a check in the amount of $195,000 for 2009.  An outpouring of community and corporate support of both the Author Luncheon and Big Red Tailgate along with many hours of work by dedicated Guild volunteers made this gift possible.  As we thank the Guild for their support in 2009, we welcome Shelley Siemers as the 2010 President as well as new and returning Guild members to bring another outstanding year for Camp Fire and the kids in our community that rely on our after school and prevention education programs!

Happy Anniversary to Camp Fire USA – Midlands Council!  As we celebrate 90 years of building girls and boys into caring, confident and future leaders in the Omaha community, we invite you to visit a display of our rich history at The Durham Museum now through May 23rd entitled:  Camp Fire USA:  A Future of Leaders.  Special thanks to FAST SIGNS for producing the graphics as well as to every alum who provided memorabilia to Camp Fire to include in the display.
