Camp Fire USA: Omaha, Nebraska

Thank you to everyone who supported Camp Fire through PHILANTHROPIZZA!  Your food and drink purchases at California Pizza Kitchen helped Camp Fire raise more than $400 for our After School Programs.

As part of our community partnership with California Pizza Kitchen, thirty Camp Fire kids visited the location over the summer.  In addition to a tour of the facility, our kids were able to make their very own pizza and were given gift cards to come back again.  Many of the kids said this opportunity was their favorite Camp Fire summer field trip and couldn’t wait to share their delectable dishes with their families!

Big Red Tailgaters donned their favorite Husker gear and accepted the challenge to sponsor all 30 Camp Fire kids featured at Friday’s main event.

Sponsors were able to keep an acrylic cut-out of the child they were supporting as a reminder of how their contributions impact the lives of children in our community.  Bios were also included to give sponsors the full picture of their support, giving them a glimpse into the daily activities of their Camp Fire kids.
