Gamma Phi Beta - Epsilon Delta Chapter at Creighton UniversityThanks to the dedication of the women of Gamma Phi Beta, Camp Fire programs will receive $2,200 to help us continue to build caring, confident youth and future leaders! The Epsilon Delta Chapter’s 3rd Annual Wing Fling delighted nearly 300 guests with a tailgate party at Creighton University raising funds exclusively for Camp Fire. Laura Hund, Public Relations VP for the sorority, said that the event “was a great way to bring the campus and Omaha community together to support such a great cause.”

Executive Director, Penny Parker; Guest Speaker, Chris Hansen; and Annual Luncheon Chair, Carla PattonCongratulations to the Camp Fire Guild for raising more than $70,000 through their annual Author Luncheon, featuring Dateline NBC correspondent Chris Hansen.  After addressing to a crowd of 450 community members during the lunch, Hansen took the opportunity to speak to the kids of Camp Fire later that day, encouraging them to confide in trusted adults about their online activities to keep them safe from online predators.

Camp Fire is proud to offer local schools, children and parents a powerful Internet safety education tool.  The Adventures of Natalie the Net Nanny is an interactive play designed to equip kids with the skills to keep them safe in the digital world.

 

Designer Showhouse Update

Camp Fire is proud to announce that our dedicated volunteers were able to provide more than 300 hours toward the project!  Thank you to every volunteer who offered a morning, afternoon or evening to help with the success of the project – we could not have done it without you!
